Frankie Mae Smith Hall : Obituary


Frankie Mae Smith Hall age 92 of Ellijay, Georgia died on Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014, at the Gilmer Nursing Home in Ellijay, Georgia.
Mrs. Hall was born Tuesday, March 15, 1921 in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents James Clifford and Lula Mae Lawson Smith. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1938. Mrs. Hall was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellijay and retired as a sales clerk from Andy’s Jewelry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hall and son Robert “Bobby” Hall.

She is survived by her son, Charles Hall of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Tina Ulrich of Kennesaw, GA, Charles Ivester of Woodstock, GA, and Paige Neill of Ellijay, GA; Six grandchildren; sister, Mary Alice Ray of Ellijay, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 7th, 2014 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Holt officiating. Music and vocals will be by Rev. Irene Wofford. Graveside interment will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Westmoreland, Charles Ivester, Jack Neill, Dr. Mike Romnick, Douglas Hall, Danny Hall, Tim Hall, Alan Hall, Jay Hall, and John Hall, Jr.

Family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm Thursday, March 6th, 2014 at the Logan Funeral Home.
