Mr. Estes Dewett “Dee” Reece age 90 of Ellijay, GA died Monday April 7, 2014.Mr. Reece was born May 31, 1923 in Gilmer County. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, a Navy Veteran serving in WWII and Was a Mason.
Survivors Include: Companion and Caregiver Frances Masters, of Ellijay; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 9th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Kerr and Rev. Ed Land officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Tuesday April 8th from 2pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
