Marie Williams : Obituary

Mrs. Marie Vick Williams age 88 of Canton, GA formerly of Ellijay, GA died Tuesday April 8, 2014.
Mrs. Williams was born February 4, 1926 in Gilmer County to the late Earl and Dessie Hensley Vick. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by brothers, Ervin, J.C., Clayburn and Alvin Vick.

Survivors Include: Son Waldon Williams, Ranger, GA; Daughters Waulene Tuck, Ellijay, Wanda Bowen, Ellijay, Willene McArthur, Ellijay, Willadean Long, Canton and Wanette Hodgens, Canton; Brothers James, Garvin and Raymond Vick, all of Ellijay; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren;
Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Friday April 11th at 2pm from the Berean Baptist Church with Rev. Caleb Parks and Rev. Edward Ledford officiating.

Interment will follow in the Berean Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday April 10th from 4pm until 9pm at the funeral home.

The family request absolutely no food be brought to the funeral home.
