Mr. Henry Fish age 73 of Ellijay, GA died Tuesday May 13, 2014.Mr. Henry Alanson Fish was born in North Creek, New York on October 11, 1940. He attended Collegedale Academy and Southern Adventist University, then spending over the next 50 years in Christian outreach to others by being both a Literature Evangelist and a School Teacher where he worked for Gilmer County Board of Education as a substitute teacher for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Fish and mother Olive Fish as well as his brothers Loren, Glennwood, Milton, Martin and Lawrence and sisters Mildred Walters, Margaret Chastain and Lorna Bunker.
He is survived by his wife; Juanita Boyles Fish, children Henry A. Fish II, Karen T. Fish, Sharon P. Kenerson, Lawrence B. Fish and Terrence E. Fish as well as 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and additional numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday May 18th at 10am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Elder Alvin Klein, Elder James Peel and Pastor Mike Conley officiating. Pianist will be Rae Reta Peel. Pallbearers will be Lawrence B. Fish, Gail Fish, Daniel Fish, Gary R. Fish, Howard Fish, Jonathan Fish, Glennwood Fish Jr. and Chadwick Chastain.
Interment Service will be held Sunday May 18th at 4pm from the Collegedale Memorial Park in Collegedale, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends Saturday May 17th from 6pm until 8pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
