Georgia State House District 7 has two candidates that qualified to run as the week came to an end. The Incumbent David Ralston and challenger Sam Snider. Ralston is currently Speaker of the State House of Representatives. Both candidates reside in North Georgia with Ralston in Fannin county and Snider in Gilmer. The 7th district is made up of Gilmer, Fannin, and a small portion of Dawson County.FYN sat down this week with Sam Snider and asked why he is running and why he feels the 7th district needs a new representative.
