Connie Reece Stover : Obituary

Ms. Connie Reece Stover age 60 of Westwood Dr. Ellijay died Sunday June 22, 2014.Ms. Stover was born July 27, 1953 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late James and Mary Ruth Ashford Reece. Ms. Stover was a graduate of Gilmer High School, a member of the East Ellijay Baptist Church. She worked in retail for many years working for the Ellijay Toggery, was owner of Interiors and The Christmas House for a number of years and was very involved with Downtown Merchants Associations and many other civic organizations.

Survivors include: Daughter and son-in-law; Cassidy and Chris Erickson, Westminster CO, Son; Dylan Stover, Athens, Sister and Brother-in-law; Abbie and Lee Cagle, Ellijay, Father of the children Denny Stover, Ellijay, Mother-in-law; Emma Lou Stover, Ellijay, Grandchild; Bradley Reece Erickson along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service will be held Sunday June 29, 2014 in the East Ellijay Cemetery with Brother Eddy Hensley officiating. The family will meet with friends Saturday from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Georgia Mountains Hospice 70 Caring Way Jasper, GA 30143 in memory of Ms. Stover.
