Mr. Martin Braille: Obituary

Mr. Martin Braille age 76 of Blackberry Falls Ellijay, GA died Wednesday June 25 ,2014. Mr. Braille was born in Bronx, NY November 2, 1937. He lived in Sayville, Long Island and Naples FL before moving to Ellijay. Marty passed following a massive coronary.

He is remembered for his great gift to make people laugh and smile. His whole life he always put his family first and cared for the people of his community. Marty served his country in the 1950,s in the Army. He worked for Suffolk County 911 and in a fire house doing dispatch as well as being involved with the volunteer ambulance and fire department. In Naples FL he worked in the Sherriff’s Department as a Sgt. where he retired in 1998. He then volunteered and worked in his community “Faith, Hope and Charity Thrift Store”,and continued to be active in the FOP and Lions Club.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years; Sue Ray Braille, Son; Steven Braille ,NY; Daughter; Jodi Kessler, FL; Son ; Eric Braille ,GA and daughter-in-law; Patty.4 grandchildren; Michelle Coppola, Sean Braille, Lindsey Kessler, Josh Kessler, and great-grandchildren Benjamin and Emily Coppola.
