A Grand Jury in Gilmer County has returned a True Bill on a four count indictment to three Calhoun men.
The indictment charges Fields Benjamin Chapman, Andrew Haynes, and Damon Avery Johnson with aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery. Chapman and Haynes have also been charged with the offense of sodomy.
In another indictment with a separate victim, Chapman has been charged with 28 counts of sexual exploitation of children. Chapman allegedly had pictures and videos of a minor on his iPhone. According to the indictment, the photos show the victim engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Chapman, Haynes and Johnson were charged in May with one count of possession of alcohol by a minor and one count of aggravated sexual battery. On May 11th an individual contacted an investigator claiming she had been raped by “multiple guys” the previous night. The incident allegedly took place at a Cabin in Ellijay when several students rented it for a post prom party.
