Ms. Dorothy Jones Oliver, age 84, of Yukon Road, Ellijay died Saturday July 12, 2014.Ms. Oliver was born March 25, 1930, in Pickens County,the daughter of the late Seth Jones, Sr. and Blondell Walker Jones. She was a seamstress, having worked for Macy’s for a number of years and she attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

Survivors include: Son: David Oliver, Ellijay, Sisters: Ruth Jones, Woodstock, Eleanor Weatherly, Kennesaw, Annie Greenwood, Austell, Brothers: Seth Jones, Jr, Marble Hill, Charles W. Jones, Talking Rock, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday July 15, 2014 from the Yukon cemetery with Shawn Eldridge officiating.

The family will meet with friend Tuesday from 2:00pm until 4:30pm at the funeral home.
