Mrs. Virginia Christine Comes, age 92, of Lazy River Lane, Ellijay died Monday July 14, 2014.Mrs. Comes was born February 1st, 1922 in Lumpkin County, the daughter of the late Henry Grady and Viola Moose Daniel. She attended North Georgia College, was a homemaker and a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband: William Lincoln Comes and brother: Clyde P. Daniel.

Survivors include: Son: William J.G. Brown, Ellijay, daughters: Marsha Shell, Telico Plains, TN, Lynette Brown, Woodstock, 4 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren, brother: Cauble R. Daniel, Ellijay, sisters: Earline Yelberton, St Petersburg, FL, Carlene Rincon, New Orleans, LA., nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 19, 2014 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt funeral Home with Pastor David Smedley officiating. The family will meet with friends Friday from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
