Mrs. Janie Lou Worley Sanford age 63 of Westwood Dr. Ellijay died Wednesday July 16, 2014.Mrs. Sanford was born Oct 18, 1950 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Taft and Mattie Pritchett Worley. She was a caregiver and member of the Ellijay Church of God. Her husband Homer Sanford preceded her in death.

Survivors include: Sons; Scott Sanford, Ellijay and Mike Worley, Ocoee, TN; Brothers; Leroy and Howard Worley both of Ellijay, Sisters: Eva Mae McArthur, Ellijay, Mary Ruth Hall Blairsville, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ellijay City Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 5 until 9pm at the funeral home.
