Mrs. Betty Jean Pinson Wright DeBoard: Obituary

Mrs. Betty Jean Pinson Wright DeBoard age 80 of Ellijay died Saturday August 9, 2014.Mrs. DeBoard was born April 6, 1934 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Sam and Dessie Greenway Pinson. She worked in the textile industry and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert DeBoard, brothers: William, Hank and Willard Pinson, sister; Dolly Pinson.

Survivors Include: Sons and daughter–in-law, Terry Wright, Ellijay, Sammy and Judy Wright, Ellijay, Brothers and sisters-in-law: , Ernest Pinson, Ellijay, Johnny and Diane Pinson, Ellijay, Trudy Pinson, and Mary Ruth Pinson both of Ellijay, Sisters and brothers-in-laws:, Frances and Richard Edmondson, Ellijay, Christine and Eugene Walker, Ellijay, Frieda Johns, Chatsworth, Father of the children: Charles Wright, Ellijay, 3 grandchildren, Kimberley Covington, Melissa Massengill, Joshua and Elise Wright, 5 great-grandchildren, Rachael Covington, Caleb Covington, Mattie Massengill, Samuel Massengill, Edward Wright., Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 12, 2014 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Scott, Rev. Laymon Langford, Minister Butch Jones, Rev. Irene Wofford and Bro. Johnny Pinson officiating. Interment will be in the Ellijay City cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 4 until 9pm at the funeral home.
