A young lady named Brook Evans, daughter of Eddie and Michelle Evans was involved in a fatal accident that occurred on Hwy. 282. According to friends of the family, Brook lost control of her vehicle and ran off the roadway sustaining injuries that took her life.
Brook was a 2014 graduate of Gilmer County High School and had achieved her diploma last December and walked with her class at the 2014 Graduation. She was employed by Ingles.
Authorities are investigating and more details may be released as information becomes available. Close friends to the family are requesting prayers for the family.
