Mrs. Doris M. Fielder age 86 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday August 14, 2014.Mrs. Fielder was born May 15, 1928 in Lincoln, AL to the late Eldred and Kate Hollingworth Fielder. She was a member of the Pebblebrook Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Fielder and son, Ted Fielder.
Survivors include: son, Tom Fielder, Ellijay, daughters and sons-in-law, Dale and Don Wallace Easley, SC Nancy and Larry Weeks, Ellijay daughter-in-law: Sally Fielder, Monroe; Grandchildren: Brandy and Rob Hornbaker, Wayne and Marie Weeks, Fred Fielder and Fiancé Joelle McElveen, Suzanna and Isaac Johannesmann, Abby and Allen Pruiett, Jonathan and Sara Dalton, 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Don Merkl, Lincoln, AL; sisters, Sara Dugan, Carrolton, GA, Sue Ragsdale, Social Circle, GA, Gail Sheperd, Madison, AL.
Funeral Services will be held Monday August 18th at the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Joe Sisson and Minister Tommy Kyle officiating. Pallbearers will be Wayne Weeks, Jonathan Dalton, Rob Hornbaker, Fred Fielder, Allen Pruitt, Isaac Johannesmann and Philip Sheperd.
Interment will be held Monday August 18th at 12:30pm from the GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
