Mrs. Trudie P. Moore, age Fort Worth, TX, formally of Ellijay, died Thursday August 14, 2014.Mrs. Moore was born August 25, 1923 in Pleasant Hill, LA the daughter of the late Alfred Leffie and Elvie Mae Brown Phillips. She was a homemaker, member of the First Baptist Church in Saginaw, TX and First Baptist Church of Ellijay and was active in AARP and the Gideon’s Auxiliary. Her husband Robert “Bob” Moore preceded her in death.
Survivors include; children Robert M Moore, III, Eufaula, AL, daughter: Sharon Wortsman, Ft. Worth, TX, Charles R. Moore, Dacula, GA, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday August 18, 2014 at 11:00am from the First Baptist Church Ellijay with Dr. Milton Perry officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.
The family met with friends Sunday evening at the funeral home.
