Mrs. Ann Hicks Oakes age 73 of Silver Creek, GA died Saturday August 30, 2014.Mrs. Oaks was born May 23 1941 in Floyd County to the late Richard and Lou Emma Hicks. She was a member of the Rockmart Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Oaks.
Survivors Include: sons, Rickie Oakes, Galesville, AL, Cliff Oakes, Euharlee, GA; daughters, Leigh Sullens, Rome, GA, Jamie Oakes, Rome, GA; brother, Rickie Hicks, Ellijay; sister, Charlotte Bonner, Douglasville, GA; 5 grandhcildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 2nd at 2pm from the Chapel of the Good Shepard Funeral Home in Rome, GA with Rev. Ed Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery in Ellijay, GA.
The family will receive friends Tuesday September 2nd from 12 noon until 2pm at the Good Shepard Funeral Home in Rome, GA.
