Gilmer County Holds 9/11 Memorial Service

A memorial service honoring those who lost their lives, first responders, and veterans of 9/11, was held today at the Veterans Memorial Bridge in the Ellijay River Park.
Dozens of citizens, emergency responders, and veterans joined the service to pay tribute. Organizers and contributors included Sandy Lyons, the North  Georgia Honor Guard, the local Sons of Confederate Veterans chapter, the Ellijay American Legion and the Sons of the American Revolution.
