Mr. Jerry Vernon Arnold age 67 of Sugar Creek Rd Blue Ridge,GA died Wednesday September 10, 2014. Mr. Arnold was born April 13, 1947 in Gilmer County the son of the late Farris and Paralee Sanford Arnold. He was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church, a Logger and a veteran serving with the US Army in Vietnam.
Survivors include: Wife Brenda Bowers Arnold, Blue Ridge, step-son, Paul Rich, Blue Ridge, step-daughter: Tammy Bowers,FL, 3 grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law: John and Paula Arnold, Glenn and Shelia Arnold all of Ellijay. Sisters; Marcelle Lowery, Bea McClure, and Vira Hensley, all of Ellijay. In laws; Randall and Helen Bowers, Blue Ridge, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. John Wynn officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Friday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
