Mrs. Dolores Diane Wilson Davis: Obituary

Mrs. Dolores Diane Wilson Davis, age 57 of the Flat Creek community, Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday, September 12, 2014, at her residence.Mrs. Davis was born on March 19, 1957 in Ellijay, Georgia. Diane was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was self employed as a house cleaner.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Greg L. Davis of the home in Ellijay, GA; Sons and daughter-in-law, Joshua Ernest and Kristie Davis of Fairmount, GA, and Jacob Greg Davis of Ellijay, GA; Grandchildren, Kassidy Marie Davis, Jared Ethan Davis, and Kelsie Aunna Davis; Mother, Ella Mae Collis Wilson Reece of Jasper, GA; Sister, Connie Lynn Wilson of Jasper, GA; Brother and sister-in-law, Tony E. and Adrian Wilson of Jasper, GA also survives.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 14th, 2014 from the chapel of Logan Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks and Bro. Gary Watkins officiating. A graveside service immediately followed in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion. Interment was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donny Reagan, Harold Callahan, John Colwell, Lynn Arrowood, Billy Sales, Nathan Anderson, and Robert Pettigrew. Honorary pallbearers will be her caregivers Janet McClure, Judy Dover, Carol Sales, Melissa McEntyre and Louise Dale.

The family received friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Logan Funeral Home.

Flowers are being accepted, or donations may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, c/o Assistance in Healthcare at 600 Celebrate Life Parkway, Newnan, GA 30265 in memory of Mrs. Davis.

The family requests that no food be brought to the funeral home.
