But who are you to judge your neighbor?” James 4:11-12.Dear Lord of Peace, we sometimes are around people who delight in defaming others. Help us to be aware of the power of careless, critical, and slanderous accusations against a fellow believer. You have already judged and dealt with this person and likely they have dealt with themselves. You then do not allow us to be judges over them for this is forbidden in the divine law.
We want to be doers of the law of all that is right in human relationships for we do not want to be judged with the same harshness that we are capable of giving. May we live this day in the Spirit of Christ.
