“My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” James 5:19-20.O Lord, Our God, Spirit of Truth and Righteousness, as we close our prayers from the Book of James, we have seen just how much you want us to make our faith practical in everyday life. All of us know people who are wandering from the church and get lost in the maze of daily pursuits. This causes them to stray away from prayer and communion with you. But when they wander so far from the truth it is hard for them to find their way back unless someone leads them. Help this person who has a family member who is a wanderer to lead this one back into the lovely embrace of Jesus.
