Mr. Rodney Michael “Mikie” Eaton age 50 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday Oct.2, 2014.
Mr. Eaton was born March 24, 1964 in Copperhill, TN the son of Faye Gibson Lerch and the late Dennis Eaton. He worked in the Poultry Industry and was of the Baptist Faith. His father and brother Jackie Eaton preceded him in death.

Survivors include: Children: Rodney Ernest Eaton, Alicha Fay Eaton and Shannon Eaton all of Dalton, mother and step-father; Faye and Thomas Lerch, Ellijay, brothers and sisters in laws; Kenneth and Dianna Eaton, Delmar and Tamitha Eaton all of Ellijay, sister and brother-in-law; Sandra and Alfred Jones, Blairsville, GA, grandchild Cheyanne Eaton, Dalton.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00pm from the Flat Creek Baptist Church Rev. Pat Shelton and Rev. Tommy Sanford officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
