Adult Lunch and Learn Knitting & Crocheting

Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Lauren Cape and Lynda Decker will be your host and teacher. Already know how to knit, come for the fun! If you are unable to attend a meeting, come when you can, you don’t have to be at every class. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color. If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color.

Intermediate Excel

Have you ever wanted or needed to learn Microsoft Excel? If so, register for our free Intermediate Excel seminar. We will build upon the things we learned in Intro Excel by exploring templates, charts, and formulas. Registration is recommended.
The Bookshelf
Friends, family, and food! Find new holiday menu inspiration in the huge selection of cookbooks we’ll be featuring for the next two weeks. A serious cook has donated her collection of books, all topics, and all cuisines. This is certainly a feast you’ll find hard to resist.
Please remember to donate your gently read magazines to the Bookshelf and pick up some others for yourself. We have magazines on everything from gardening to hot rods, and all are bargains at just $.25 each.
Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:00 on weekdays and from noon-2:00 on Saturdays.
