Mr. Vernie Leland Green age 79 of Talking Rock, GA died Sunday October 26, 2014. Mr. Green was born December 20, 1934 in Fannin County to the late Edgar and Hazel Dilbeck Green. He worked for Georgia Marble as a truck driver and was a member of the Welcome Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Dorothy Hyde.
Survivors Include: wife, Delores Green, of the home; son, Danny Green, Talking Rock, GA; daughter, Frances Fendley, Ellijay, GA; brothers, Ralph Green and Donnie Green, both of Blue Ridge, GA; sister, Jean Brown, Blue Ridge, GA; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday October 28th at 11am from the Yukon Cemetery with Rev. Billy Dotson officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday October 27th from 5pm until 7pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
