Ruby Linda Bearden Lowman, age 64 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. She was of the Baptist Faith. Born Thursday, August 24, 1950 in Blue Ridge, Georgia to her late parents Burt and Beulah Aaron Bearden. Mrs. Lowman was employed with Dundee Mills. She is preceded in death by sisters Reba Green, Ruth Mann, Reatha Moore; Brothers Reed, Robert, and Richard Bearden.

Survivors include husband of 44 years, James Lowman of the home in Ellijay; daughter and son in law, Shanondoia and Johnny Jones of Ellijay, GA; Son and Daughter-in-law, Calvin and Crystal Lowman of Ellijay, GA, Grandchildren, Everett Norris and Johnathon Jones, brothers, Ralph Bearden of Ellijay, GA and Roy Bearden of Nichols, GA,; sisters, Rosetta Rabun of Winder, GA and Rachel Nix of Albertville, AL.; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday November 6th, 2014 at the Big Creek Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, Georgia with Rev. Max Curtis, Rev. Kert Wetzel and Rev. Hubert Legg officiating. Music and singing will be by the Big Creek Baptist Choir, Bunker Hill Baptist Church Choir, Gerald and Annette Long, Roy Neal, James and Seth Stanley. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with James Holt, Ricky Sutton, Scott Jones, Jerry Scott Fowler, David Diamond, Dillon Diamond, Will Diamond, Caleb Hammond and Willard Jones serving as pallbearers.
