Mr. Kenneth L. Cook: Obituary

Mr. Kenneth L. Cook, age 83, of Ellijay, died Friday November 7, 2014. Mr. Cook was born Septemeber 13, 1931 in Atlanta, the son of the late Willilam Lorin and Sally Fannie Godby Cook. He was retired from the US Navy after 20 years service. He is preceded in death by his wife; Verdie Mae Hornsby Cook.

Survivors include: son and daughter –in-law: Ken and Judy Cook, Ellijay, daughter and son-in-law: Julia Cook and Jawed Alam, New Orleans, LA, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren , brother and sister-in-law; William Newell and Melinda Cook, Clarkville, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Saturday November 15, 2014 at 2:00pm from the Godby Cemetery in Atlanta.

The family will recieve friends Friday from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
