Gilmer County will honor its veterans and all who have served and fought for their country on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11th.A breakfast for veterans and their families will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 8 a.m. The Veteran’s Day parade around downtown Ellijay will start at 10:30 a.m. with an honorary ceremony on the square to follow at 11 a.m. A barbecue lunch at the Ellijay Lions Club will be held immediately following the ceremony.
