Gilmer High School Lady Cats volleyball senior, Brooke Sims, recently signed a scholarship with Shorter University. Sims played four years of volleyball for the Lady Cats and joins, fellow former Lady Cat, Cheyenne Frady, currently a sophomore on the Lady Hawks squad. Sims will be joining a Lady Hawks team that finished the year 21-6, with an appearance in South Regional of the tournament and a second place finish in the Gulf South Coast Conference after a 2-3 loss to North Alabama in the finals.
