O God, Jesus taught us that His kingdom was not of this world, but that it is a spiritual kingdom, and is only in this world when He dwells in the hearts and lives of men. We pray for your kingdom to come in our lives in such a way that we may be pleasing to you. We desire that your will be done in our lives for we know that it is always best.
As we look at our world of war, rioting, brutality, immorality, and godlessness, we realize that your kingdom needs to come in the hearts of men for there is no other way to world peace or to personal peace. Grant that we may do your will today: through Christ our Lord.
