Daily Prayer: 11/26/2014

One thing I know, that whereas I was blind, now I see.” John 9:25O Light of the world who sweetly has dawned upon us, once we were blind, but now we see. We were blind to the way of life freely offered by Christ; His grace and loving kindness, forgiveness and cleansing, hope, assurance, and joy that He implants in hearts that are made to see. We were blinded by our own stubborn will-but no more! Now we see . . . that you love us with an everlasting love, that burdens are lifted at Calvary, that life has meaning only in Christ and that religion is not a drag, but a vital force in life. Grant that this force shall cause us to see more of what our spiritual blindness prevented; through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
