The Clear Creek Middle School wrestling team traveled to Jasper to face the Chestatee and Jasper Middle School teams at Pickens High School. The Bobcats bested both teams, beating Chestatee 59-21 and JMS 54-33.The Bobcats beat Chestatee after jumping out to an early 20-3 lead, and cruised to 59-21 victory. The following wrestlers all procured wins: Dylan Byrd (72); Nathan Byrd (79); Thomas Chastain (94); Lucas Lopez (102); Caleb Waddell (110); Hoyt Stover (118); Christian Cash (132); James Dover (139); Angle Martinez (155); Jace McClure (180); and Taylor Brogdon (210).

The Bobcats next faced off with the rival Dragons of Jasper Middle School, winning 54-33, despite an early deficit. The following wrestlers won their matches: Chastain; Lopez; Waddell; Damien Finley; Dover; Martinez; Brodon; Tyler Woody; Dylan and Nathan Byrd.
