“Who is a God like unto Thee, that pardoneth iniquity and passeth by the transgressions of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy.” Micah 7:18We come to you, Our Father, knowing that you will hear us and pardon all of our sin. Our sin is bigger than we are and causes us more distress than anything else. It separates us from you. It curses the soul. But we thank you that there is hope in Christ who receives sinful men. You will forgive and forget and make it as though it had never happened.

Search the hearts of all of us and may we be completely honest with you and mature enough to face up to ourselves. And because you delight in mercy we confess our sin unto you. In the life of this one who seeks you in prayer may there be nothing between this one and you that would prohibit fellowship. We thank you that Christ has bridged the gulf between us and you.
