Mrs. Mary Wright: Obituary

Mrs. Mary Wright age 100 of Ellijay, GA died Sunday January 4, 2015. Mrs. Wright was born October 30, 1914 in Gilmer County to the late Jim and Alma Page Oliver. She was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Wright, sisters, Velva Burnett and Fair Crider, brothers, Fairley, Ruel and Joe Oliver.

Survivors Include: sons and daughters in-law, Tommy and Maria Wright, Ellijay and David and Judy Wright, Ellijay; brother and sister in-law, Clevie and Jean Oliver, McCaysville, GA; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; cousin, Katherine Davis, Ellijay; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 7th at 2pm from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday January 6th from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
