ELLIJAY, Ga – At the first Gilmer County Board of Education meeting of the 2015 the board voted in a new chair and vice chair.Current chair James Waters nominated board member Michael Bramlett for the position of chairman for the 2015-year. All members voted in favor of Bramlett serving in the chair position.

Next, vice chair Jim Parmer nominated board member Noreen Thomas for the position of vice chair for the 2015-year. All members also voted in favor of Thomas serving in the vice chair position.
