Mr. William “Billy” Sales: Obituary

Mr. William “Billy” Sales age 72 of Lee Pritchett Rd. Ellijay, GA died Friday January 16, 2015. Mr. Sales was born February 17, 1942 in Gilmer County to the late Carl and Oma Hill Sales. He was a member of Nine Mile Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by parents and sister, Marjorie Chance.

Survivors Include: wife, Carol Knight Sales, of the home; daughter and son in-law, April and Bobby Thompson, Ellijay; son and daughter in-law, Bill and Stacie Quarles, Ellijay; brothers and sisters in-law, Wayne and Sandra Sales, Ellijay, Hill and Margorie Sales, Ellijay; sister and brother in-law, Edna and Charles Sanford, Ellijay; 7 grandchildren, Jacob Bernhardt, Rachel Bernhardt, Carley Bernhardt, Emily Powell, Riley Powell, Austin Quarles and Shae Quarles Cagle; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday January 18th at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Burcham officiating. Interment will follow in the Nine Mile Methodist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday January 17th from 2pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
