Daily Prayer: January 25, 2015

John 9:3 “Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”O great Physician touch the bodies of those who have infirmities with your healing power. There are times when only you can intervene to stay death. Life is entrusted into your hands. We pray for the people who are suffering incurable diseases. May every moment of their lives be filled with the awareness of your Presence with them. Under-gird their families with the faith that is necessary to face whatever may come.

Especially do we ask for you to intervene in the lives of children who are dying and spare their lives if it is in your Divine will. Help the person who reads this prayer with whatever infirmity life presents: through Jesus who healed – and still does.

Amen.
