Daily Prayer: February 2, 2015

1st Peter 3:10 “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.”
O God of life Eternal, draw us close to You and keep us in the hollow of Your hand. We thank You for the place of refuge that is strong, secure, and open to those in need. Our hearts are thankful of the joys we know in life that You do provide. Your way is the way to happiness. Our search ends when we find it in You. We desire to love life and see good days. May our speech be under Your control because unbridled tongue can do more damage than anything else. So many people close the door to happiness by the things that they think and say.

Cause this one who seeks You now to examine personal heart feelings and daily speech to see if they are spinning a web in which life can be trapped. We thank you that you do set us free in Jesus Christ.
