Mrs. Ruby Marie Wright Weaver, age 90 of the Owltown community, Ellijay, Georgia passed on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.Mrs. Weaver was born April 18th, 1924 in Morganton, Georgia to her late parents, Thomas E. and Sindie Arleva Cochran Wright. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and enjoyed canning, crocheting and quilting. Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Weaver, son William C. Weaver, and brothers Truman, Blaine, and William Wright.

She is survived by her sister, Clara Ethel Crook of Ellijay, GA, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 14th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Hood officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Wright, Steve Wright, Jerry Wright, Richard Wright, Shawn Wright, and Greg Wright.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Logan Funeral Home.
