Here It Comes and I Told You So

Opinion by George McClellan:An agitprop from CNN reports that Department of Homeland Security officials are turning their sights on “right-wing sovereign citizen extremists”, after Obama’s anti-terrorist conference, as a bigger threat to the nation’s safety today than Islamic extremists who sympathize with ISIS. The operative word here is “Sovereign.” The “Sovereign Citizens“ are defined by DHS as Americans who feel they have “unfettered authority to travel on the land” and who are likely to reject “the authority of the government, law enforcement, and the courts.” They may be a little kooky but not like the “Allah u Akbar” crowd. So, beware, here it comes and I told you so!

“Federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from Sovereign Citizen as equal to, and in some cases greater than, the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS…”CNN. Isn’t that exactly what the government of King George III thought about American colonists? Sovereign citizens groups met the challenge then, should we do no less against a rogue, dysfunctional Marxist government bent on destroying America now?

Actually, the threat is bigger to Obama’s unfinished plan to “fundamentally change America” then it could possibly be as a danger to America itself because it also foretells the doom of the Democrat Party and progressivism. In the meantime, jihadists are the greater danger to us.

The DHS, for the moment, focus’s our attention on a single group, the Sovereign Citizens Group, as the extremists de jour, because members of this small group have actually engaged in deadly shootouts with police officers. These people are pushing back, albeit violently, and are creating unneeded friction that could affect other conservative organizations trying to re-establish America’s constitutional authority. It only requires an Executive Order to extend that government view to all of America’s tea parties. Don’t forget the IRS. It comes under the authority of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), that many clueless politicians (Johnny Isakson) either didn’t read first or actually supported, before voting it into law.

Is it any surprise that CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, has weighed in on the DHS side against Americans? In a statement from CAIR, they said: “We welcome this new intelligence assessment on the threat posed by domestic right-wing violent extremists” and, “It is the governments responsibility to address all forms of violent extremism – regardless of ideology – and in promotion to the criminal threat posed by these groups.” “We now call on the DHS and FBI to release an intelligence assessment addressing the spike in hate crimes targeting muslims (not muslims targeting Americans, mind), Arab, Middle-eastern, Sikh, Hindu and South Asian communities throughout the United States.”

We haven’t actually got to that point quite yet but, now is the time, right now, for communities all across America’s to demand of their political, local and state law enforcement leaders where they will stand. Will they blindly follow the edicts of Obama because DHS gave them free toys, or will they follow their oaths to protect and defend the US Constitution and the rule of law? Where will Reserve and National Guard officers stand when the order is given? They also have a fateful decision to make. So, get ready. Here it comes and I told you so.

Obama clearly believes that because he was elected to the presidency, twice, that Americans are behind him as how to accept Islam, here. His recent three day anti-terrorism conference featured speakers from the Islamic world and police leaders from Minnesota big cities, already co-opted to view Islam favorably, to assuage the infested communities of Islamic Somali converts demanding accommodation to Sharia law. They want their culture, not ours. They want their religion and detest our version of secularism. But, they’re here and those problems must be addressed or it will be a shooting war, one that Obama can’t stop. Remember, freedom is the goal, the constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em!
