Mrs. Ruth T. Waters age 76 of Ballgound died Tuesday March 3, 2015.
Mrs. Waters was born March 16,1938 in Fannin County the daughter of the late Lester and Mae Wize Merrell. She was a homemaker, member of the Arbor Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband W.P. Waters.

Survivors include:: Children:,Tava Waters, Talking Rock, Linda Waters, Jasper, William Waters, Jasper, Patricia Parks, Ellijay, Yvonne Waters, Ballground, Arlene Noland, Young Harris, Brothers; Burt Merrell, Jasper, Elbert Merrell, Ellijay, Sisters: Berta Mae Ensley, Dalton, Virginia Walker, Jasper, Thelma Merrell , Della Merrell both of Elberton, 14 grandchildren several great-grandchildren , nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Sanford Fountain and Rev. Wallace Parks officiating.

Interment will be in the Toccoa Baptist Church cemetery in Fannin County.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 11:00am until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
