Margaret “Jimmie” Carlile: Obituary

Margaret “Jimmie” Carlile, born on October 25, 1940. She went to be with the lord on March 8, 2015 at North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay, Georgia. She is predeceased in death by her mother, Esta Baker; brother Junior Killian; sisters, Doris Hughes, Jane Johnson, Lucy Abernathey, and Patsy “Pat” Debety; and her loving husband Leon Carlile.

Survivors include her son, William Tony Carlile of Ellijay, Georgia, son, Timothy Leon Carlile and wife Kimberly Carlile, son, Robert Carlile and fiancé Shama Stewart of Canton, Georgia, and daughter, Patsy Melton and her husband Eddie Melton of Marietta, Georgia. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Killian of Athens, Tennessee, sister in-law, Mary Patterson, 16 grandchildren and spouses, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and sweet puppy dogs Ruby Tuesday and Lucy also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Friday March 13th at 2pm from the Bible Baptist Church in Tellico Plains, TN with Rev. Ronnie Best officiating. Interment will follow in the Bible Baptist Church in Tellico Plains, TN. The body will lie in state from 10am until 2pm Friday March 13 at the church.

The family will receive friends Thursday March 12th from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
