Gilmer High School Sophomore, Lauren Roberson, will begin her road to receiving the highest award presented to a Girl Scout, The Gold Award, on Saturday, March 14.
Lauren along with a wonderful support team and crew will hold auditions for the first “Shining Stars Everywhere” Talent Contest. Students ranging in age from Kindergarten to Seniors in high school will compete for the $200 Cash Prize. The contest will take place at Ellijay Elementary Auditorium on Friday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m.
Auditions will be held at First Baptist Church Ellijay – Youth center on Saturday March 14 and March 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Students are asked to come prepared with a short audition of song, dance, instrumental arrangement, magic act, gymnastics, cheerleading routine or any other family oriented talented. There is NO ENTRY fee to participate.
