Mr. Wayne Elliott Bullock ” The Deacon” age 81 of Ellijay, GA formerly of Palatka, FL passed away Monday March 23, 2015. Mr. Bullock was born October 9, 1933 in Ocala, FL, son of the late Carlos Edward and Marie McEarchen Bullock. He was a self-employed radio broadcaster in Florida, a member of the Anastasia Baptist Church and an US Army veteran. Mr. Bullock is preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Thomas and Carla Rai Thomas.
Survivors Include: his wife of 56 years, Barbara Kirkland Bullock, of the home; sons and daughters in-law, Kirk and Cathy Bullock, of Ormond Beach, FL, John and Reiko Bullock, of Tokyo, Japan; daughters and son in-law, Lene’ and Chuck Haney, of St. Augustine, FL, Kim Sharpe, of Orange Park, FL; grandchildren and spouses, Austin and Jackie Sharpe, Kaydee and Nathan Kaiser, Madison Sharpe, Skylar Sharpe and Kai Bullock; great grandchild, Alice Sharpe; beloved dog, Denali.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Bullock will be held Saturday April 25, 2015 from 1pm until 4pm at the Ravine Gardens Auditorium (1600 Twiggs Street, Palatka, FL 32177). Please bring a covered dish and memories to Celebrate Mr. Bullock’s Life.
