Daily Prayer: March 30

Psalm 19:7-8 “The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.”

Father in Heaven, all of the directions in Holy Scripture are for our well being. Everything You have directed to be written in the Ten Commandments is perfect for life in any society and can revive a soul when followed. We can trust Your word because it comes from infinite wisdom and can make us wise when we follow it. The instruction we receive when we read the scriptures outlines for us the path of joy. In our dark world Your teachings give light that radiantly shines to brighten our understanding.

Bless this person who is spiritually hungry for Your word to experience the joy of living by it today. Our prayer is through Christ who loved us and gave Himself for us.

Amen.
