Daily Prayer: 04/24

Ephesians 3:20,21 “Unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.”

We know, O Lord, that you are able to do everything. Your grace is sufficient for our needs. Sometimes we are like a little fish swimming in the great ocean worried about drinking it all up. Forgive us for thinking that perhaps you are not able to cope with our problems. Would you help us to grasp faith in such a way that you will be able to work powerfully in our lives? We read in your word that Jesus did not perform miracles “because of their unbelief.”

The church is our delight. We thank you that the church is the place for sinners who are saved by your grace and those who are in need of your saving grace. May none stay away because they feel they are not good enough.

Give this person who reads this prayer today the desire to live abundantly in Christ.

Amen.
