Daily Prayer: 04/27

I John 2:4 “He that sayeth, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

So easily do we excuse ourselves, our Father and rationalize that we cannot be perfect so we do not try. Although perfection escapes us may there be in our hearts a strong determination to keep your commandments. For those who know Christ there is no other thing we want to do other than your teachings. Christianity is being profaned by any today who give lip service saying. “I know Him” when their hearts have never been bought by His power. Help such as say this to realize the emptiness of such a way: in His Marvelous Name.

Amen.
