Psalm139:1-2 “O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.”O God of all knowledge, you know everything there is to know about us. You know our days when we are on top of the world and you know the days when we are at the bottom. Our feelings fluctuate so much that we often act accordingly. Teach us how to have stability so that we will not be ruled by outward circumstances. We know that it is possible to be victorious over the mood swings that we have and not to give meaning to them.
You know us in both our strengths and our weaknesses. You are aware of the things that we think about. May our thoughts this day be pleasing to you as we think upon your Holy Word.
You see this person who pauses for prayer just now and are aware of the joys and heartaches this one faces today. It is enough just to know that you see us and are with us as we face our day. Give this one stability of thought and action today. Our prayer is made in Jesus name.
