Rev. D.W. Wheeler: Obituary

Rev. D.W. Wheeler age 83 of Ellijay, GA died Sunday May 10, 2015. Rev. Wheeler was born July 14, 1931 in Gilmer County, son of the late, Ernest and Bessie Waters Wheeler. He was an ordained Baptist minister.

Survivors Include: his wife, Addie Wheeler, of Ellijay, GA; sons and daughters in-law, Ricky and Noel Wheeler, of Ellijay, GA and Micky and Donna Wheeler, of Ellijay, GA; daughter and son in-law, Vicky and David Tipton, of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Bobby Wheeler, Robby Wheeler, Charlie Wheeler, Russell Tipton, Matthew Wheeler, Jason Wheeler and Vicky Nelson; great grandchildren, Riley Wheeler, Isaac Wheeler, Jasmine Wheeler, Jake Nelson, Luke Nelson, Zachary Plumley and Sean Plumley.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday May 13th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Mike DeFoor and Rev. Tim Chastain officiating. Pallbearers will be Robby Wheeler, Bobby Wheeler, Jason Wheeler, Matthew Wheeler, Thomas Millsap and David Tipton. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friend Tuesday May 12th from 4pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
