Daily Prayer: 05/15

Psalm 55:17 “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.”With great confidence we lift our hearts in prayer to you, Our Father. We accept the teachings of your word to “cast thy burdens upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.”
Ours are burdens of the spirit. We do not understand why we are low and depressed. This comes upon us apparently for no reason at all. In such depression we do and say things that we would not have done otherwise. In prayer we are lifted out of ourselves and into fellowship with you.

We pray for all who cannot come to terms with themselves and they find themselves out on a wild spree of nothingness. Help each person who is dissatisfied with themselves enough to do something about it, to find the peace which passes all understanding.

May this one who reads this prayer believe in prayer and practice it in the name of Christ, Our Lord.
