Mr. Barry Sanford age 55 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday May 14, 2015. Mr. Sanford was born April 23, 1960 in Canton, GA. He had his bachelor’s degree, was in the textile industry and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay, GA. He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy C. Sanford.

Survivors Include: Wife, Debra Arnold Sanford, of Ellijay, GA; mother, Eulene Silvers Sanford, of Ellijay, GA; son, Caleb Padgett, of Ellijay; daughter and son in-law, Arielle and John Arevalo, of Marietta, GA; daughter in-law, Brooke Padgett, of Ellijay, GA; brother and sister in-law, Randy and Joy Sanford, of Dalton, GA; 1 very special granddaughter, Addison Padgett; nephews, Russell Sanford and his fiancé Jessie Carter and Justin Sanford and his wife Rachel Sanford.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday May 17th at 4pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Edmund Miller and Rev. Milton Perry officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday May 16th from 2pm until 9pm at the funeral home and Sunday May 17th from 12pm until the funeral hour.
